R2 Builders panel, San Diego ComicCon

Mike joined with a fun group of R2 builders to share how to build your own R2-D2, for a huge audience at San Diego ComicCon. The room was full and unfortunately people were turned away. Two BB-8s made appearances, as well as Chopper and a surprise visit by C3PO. Thanks to Thomas, Tony, Paul and everyone else for helping with droid logistics, always a challenge at this huge con.

Pacific Symphony

We were honored to once again be a part of two John Williams tribute concerts by the Pacific Symphony at the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa, conducted by the talented Richard Kaufman. As a special guest music librarian, R2 delivered the Star Wars score to the conductor on stage.

UNICEF Kid Power

It was an honor to be a part of this event at LA Live for UNICEF Kid Power, sponsored by Target and Star Wars: Force for Change. Kids who wear their Kid Power fitness bands unlock food packets for malnourished children around the world. What a great cause! And it's always fun working with Chewbacca. 😊
